The Ravenous Pig, located in Winter Park, FL, provides an atmosphere that is warm and inviting with the use of brick walls, rich, dark woods, and eclectic lighting details. The owner’s wanted a way to display their family history with selected black and white photos, so they were enlarged and incorporated above the bar by being displayed in oversized framed photos suspended from the ceiling and back lit. One of the only original elements remaining after the renovation were the terrazzo floors which were restored for opening. Suspended panels created from pressed glass between acrylic sheets create interesting boundaries between the middle dining area and main bar. Dramatic lighting accents throughout the space add to the casual elegance of the dining experience, and a perforated metal tin ceiling with hidden acoustic backing topped off the ceiling of the Main Dining room. The Chef’s room features a more private space to view the chef’s during preparation of their award-winning cuisine.
