Owners Jill Ramsier and David Forrester had a vision – to create a winery and wine tasting environment in Orlando that would transport wine to markets and ultimately the consumer in an environmentally friendly way. Thus, Quantum Leap Winery was born. The project was very special in that the 17,000 SF warehouse space would not only hold its very own winery, but its own wine tasting room and a VIP area within the winery itself for special events. Flooring for commercial spaces always seems to be a hot topic. From slip resistance to noise reduction, there are many choices and factors to balance. Terrazzo still seems to be a product of choice, although the selection of where it will be used is always very important to consider. Terrazzo can be not only a very attractive look, but one that utilizes recycled materials within it’s production.
